After dropping their opening game of the season 5-2 to South Forsyth, Creekview have won three in a row in impressive fashion.

The Lady Grizzlies (3-1, 3-0 Region 6AAAAAA) defeated Sprayberry 10-2 last Thursday and defeated Sequoyah 6-2 on Saturday before knocking off Dalton 5-2 on Tuesday. Pitchers Anslie Pettit picked up the wins against Sprayberry and Sequoyah, while Mattie Lathem earned the win against Dalton.

The Lady Grizzlies will play at 6 p.m. Thursday at home against Allatoona.

Etowah (1-1, 0-0 in Region 4AAAAAAA)

Etowah has split its two games so far this season, with an 8-0 win over Collins Hill and a 6-5 loss over West Forsyth. The Lady Eagles will next play at 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 at home against Cherokee.

River Ridge (6-1, 4-0 in Region 6AAAAAA)

After starting the season a perfect 6-0, the Lady Knights dropped their first game of the season on Tuesday night at home in a 5-2 loss to Cherokee. 

River Ridge will play at 5:55 p.m. Thursday at Harrison.

Sequoyah (3-2, 2-2 in Region 6AAAAAA)

The Lady Chiefs began the season with two straight victories over Sprayberry and Osborne before dropping their third game in a 6-2 loss to Creekview on Saturday.

Sequoyah defeated West Forsyth 2-1 on Monday and then lost 8-1 at Allatoona on Tuesday.

The Lady Chiefs will play at 5:55 p.m. at home Thursday against South Cobb.

Woodstock (2-2, 0-0 in Region 4-AAAAAAA)

After dropping their first two games of the season to Forsyth Central and River Ridge, the Lady Wolverines bounced back for consecutive wins over Sprayberry on Monday.

Woodstock will play at 10 a.m. Saturday at South Forsyth before beginning region play next Thursday at home against Lassiter.
