The first round of the playoffs will be held Wednesday, with Sequoyah, Woodstock, Cherokee and River Ridge in the Class 6A-7A tournament.

The state quarterfinals will be on Dec. 19 on campus sites. Semifinal games will be held Dec. 23 at the Home Depot Backyard at Mercedes Benz Stadium with the state championship game at Georgia State's Center Parc Stadium on Dec. 28.

Woodstock, the No. 2 seed, will travel to Mill Creek to face Dacula. The winner will face the winner of Mill Creek and Lambert.

Cherokee is the third seed and will compete in the first round against South Gwinnett at Forsyth Central. The winner will face the winner of Forsyth Central and Collins Hill.

River Ridge earned the No. 4 seed and will travel to Grayson to face the Lady Rams. The winner will face the winner of North Gwinnett and West Forsyth.
