River Ridge kept its perfect Region 6AAAAAA record intact Tuesday as Emily Paulson’s 3-pointer with 7 seconds left in overtime help lift the Lady Knights to a 64-63 win over Osborne.
Mataya Gayle led River Ridge (3-3, 3-0) with 18 points, while Paulson finished with 16 and Leigh Codiniera 14.
River Ridge will play at 6 p.m. Friday at home against Sprayberry.
Woodstock 64, Lambert 8: Woodstock remained the only undefeated girls team in the county after its home win over Lambert on Tuesday night.
Bridget Utberg led the Lady Wolverines (7-0) with 18 points, while Karson Martin added 14 and Savannah Casey added 10.
Woodstock will play at 6 p.m. Friday at South Forsyth.
Cherokee 51, North Cobb 43: Following their first loss of the season Saturday, the Lady Warriors got back on track Tuesday with their win over North Cobb.
Kate Johnson led Cherokee (6-1) with 14 points, while Ashlyn Andrus and Sydne Watts each added 11 points.
Cherokee will play at 6 p.m. Friday at home against Creekview.
Harrison 47, Creekview 34: Playing on the road, the Lady Grizzlies lost their first Region 6AAAAAA game of the season Tuesday night.
Creekview (4-2, 2-1) will play at 6 p.m. on Friday at Cherokee.
North Cobb 82, Cherokee 74 (OT): Despite 32 points from Taihland Owens and 24 points from Elijah Tucker, the Warriors dropped their first game of the season Tuesday night.
Zack Vickers added 13 points for Cherokee (4-1), but the rest of the team combined for just five points. Tucker added eight rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Owens added three rebounds and two assists.
Cherokee will play next at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home against Creekview.
Harrison 64, Creekview 52: Creekview fell on the road Tuesday night.
Jayden Cox-Young led Creekview (2-5, 0-3 Region 6AAAAAA) with 21 points, while Spencer McDonald and Ewing Hunter each added 10 points.
Creekview will play next at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cherokee.
River Ridge 70, Osborne 67: River Ridge earned its first Region 6AAAAAA victory of the season by defeating Osborne on the road Tuesday night.
Sophomore Jared Russo scored a team-high 22 points, while Will Apple added 12 points and Grant Portera nine.
River Ridge (2-5, 1-2) will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home against Sprayberry.
Woodstock 69, Lambert 63: Rakim Thompson scored 26 points to lead Woodstock as the Wolverines bounced back from their loss to King’s Academy with a win over Lambert on Tuesday night.
Cole Foster, Brody Marcinkowski and Ezekiel Pettway each added 13 points for Woodstock (4-3).
Woodstock will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday at South Forsyth.
