The NAIA this week named 17 of Reinhardt’s 22 athletic teams as scholar teams for the 2018-19 school year.

In total, 1,862 teams nationally kept the required 3.0 grade-point average among all eligible student-athletes.

The women’s cross country team led the way for Reinhardt with a cumulative 3.6 GPA, just ahead of men’s golf and men’s soccer at 3.58. Women's indoor and outdoor track and field both finished at 3.57, while women’s soccer was at 3.48.

Men’s tennis (3.38), women’s lacrosse (3.36) and women’s basketball (3.32) were next, followed by women’s volleyball (3.34), women’s tennis (3.24) and women’s golf (3.2).

Men’s cross country finished at 3.18, while men’s basketball and softball each posted 3.14 GPAs. Men’s indoor and outdoor track each finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.03.
