Dear Editor:

After Mr. Lampru’s lengthy attempt to deflect the responsibility for gas price increases away from President Biden, I decided to cut to the chase.

AAA identified that as of December 20th 2021 “the national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.31. One year ago, the price was $2.22 per gallon”.

Additionally, MSN/Money states that “The Consumer Price Index, a key indicator of inflation (defined as the sustained rise in the cost of living), has increased by 6.8% since last November and is now at the highest level since 1982”.

President Biden was elected in November of 2021.

Merry Christmas from the White House!
