The world ponders its dealing with the coronavirus, with some accusing China of spreading this virus worldwide, while others wonder if the virus is “Nature’s God’s” way of announcing to the world that he is still in charge — and that he has caused this virus to spread worldwide to get the attention of all mankind who have ignored his laws and commandments for far too long.
Few, if any, in today’s rising generations have been taught that Thomas Jefferson, in the first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, declared forcefully that the future success of the newly created United States of America was to be founded on “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.” Ignorance of this fact has led to an ignorance of most of “Nature’s Gods” laws and all Ten Commandments with three of the Ten very noticeable broken. The first of the three notably broken commandments being: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me (Exodus 20:2-7); the second being: “Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy.” (20:8-11); and the third: “Thou shalt not kill” (20:13).
A study of the books of Exodus and Leviticus explains well the differences between the commandments and laws of God. Isaiah 47:10-11 explains why the Lord brings desolation upon his people, and perhaps explains best the rioting, burning, and killing in so many of America’s cities since last May. These two verses read: “10. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee, and thou hath said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. 11. Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee, thou shall not be able to put it off; and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shall not know.” Does verse eleven not describe COVID-19 to a tee?
The Lord, in another verse, explains clearly what will happen when mankind rejects his servants and his words. This verse reads: “For a desolating scourge shall go forth among the inhabitants of the earth, and shall continue to be poured out from time to time, if they repent not, until the earth is empty, and the inhabitants thereof are consumed away and utterly destroyed by the brightness of my coming.” Do not these words describe the “desolating scourge” of COVID-19 that has afflicted every nation of the world? I believe they do.
The second greatest gift that God has given to mankind is the gift of agency, the gift to choose for one’s self what they will do, or how they will live their life. Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration, and the 56 who signed it were men the Lord rose up to create a new nation of freedom, the United States of America, honorable men who chose to believe in God and who were able to feel his promptings in creating a new nation where freedom to choose would be paramount in the new nation.
Likewise in 1787 with the 55 men who crafted the Constitution of the United States and who developed constitutional laws based on what Jefferson had declared in the Declaration, the foundational law for the new nation, “the Laws of Nature’s God.” These men and their descendants, for the next several generations, adhered to these “Laws of Nature’s God” and prospered. Then following generations of unbelievers began to whittle away at these foundational laws, by those who would have this country become a socialist nation by ignoring God’s laws and commandments.
The first whittle occurred when the schools quit using a primer that included a verse from the bible for each new lesson. The next whittles were the court decisions that took the bible out of the classrooms. Once God was whittled out of society it was easy to ignore his commandment to keep the sabbath day holy. It was now easy to declare that churches could no longer speak about political issues, and finally with God totally ignored by the state it was easy to break the commandment that “Thou shalt not kill,” with the killing of millions of unborn human beings annually.
If the world wants to get rid of COVID-19 maybe it should begin to remember God is still God by honoring Him, by keeping his sabbath day holy – and by stop killing those spirits he is sending to earth to gain a mortal experience via abortions.
