Recently, while riding with a friend to one of my doctor appointments, we discussed how rapidly President Biden was rejecting most everything that President Trump had instigated during his term in office, I said to my friend “Isn’t it sad watching our America change so rapidly?”

My friend shrugged his shoulders and agreed with me that it was truly sad seeing the ‘swamp’ reemerge so soon again in Washington D.C. after all the effort Trump went to, to cleanse that city from the effect of years of corruption, in both parties and on both sides of the isle, and at times even in the White House.

Both my friend and I have been students of the scriptures for years, but he more so than I. So, as we discussed the rapid changes being made by Biden to dethrone Trump, we began discussing how close what is happening in America today to what happened to ancient Israel as related in II Kings, chapters 18 through 25. He then pointed out the similarity between how King Hezekiah had cleaned up the country, similar to what President Reagan began, and how President H.W, Bush had set it back when he reneged on his promise of ‘no tax hikes,’ a promise broken that allowed Clinton to win the 1992 presidential election and begin rebuilding the DC swamp that Reagan had begun to clean up.

Then, following eight years of Clinton we witnessed eight years of George W. Bush, the older Bush’s son, who allowed the swamp to remain in place, so that when Barack Obama was elected President in 2008 against a weak Republican ticket, Obama was seen striding across the White House lawn, with his right arm held high and clinched fist, declaring that America was about to see ‘major fundamental changes,’ and major fundamental changes we saw, beginning by Obama bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, displaying his allegiance to the Muslim faith, and indicating the beginning of a major change from the Christian faith that was the foundation of both the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and America’s Constitution in 1787.

Then, after beating Trump in an election half of America feels was rigged, Joe Biden, who served as Obama’s Vice President, is, as my friend declared, picking up where Obama left off while taking, like ancient Manasseh, the government deeper into the swamp. My friend reminded me that chapter twenty-one is a chapter devoted entirely to the fifty-five-year government of King Hezekiah’s son Manasseh. Verse two of this chapter begins with these words: “And he (Manesseh) did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.” It is also interesting to note that Manasseh’s son Amon ruled only two years, while doing “evil in the sight of the Lord,” as did his father, before the country rose up and conspired against Amon and slew him.

Following Amon, Hezekiah’s grandson Josiah became the king, at the age of eight, and ruled for thirty-three years before being killed in a military battle, but was said of him in chapter twenty-two, “And he did right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his Father, and turned not aside to the right hand or the left.” Both of us found the words ‘right hand or the left’ interesting considering the political parties in America today are considered left and right.

Following Josiah’s death, a total of six kings reigned, all doing evil in the sight of the Lord, for a total of thirty-seven years until Judah was finally taken captive by Babylon and Judah was no more by BC 587. As we pondered how the rule of Manesseh, who had done evil in the sight of the Lord, had led to the destruction of ancient Judah we wondered if the same thing could happen to America today as a majority of America now rejects the teachings of God via his Son, with only about thirty percent of America declaring their belief in God, and that living his commandments are a requirement of a covenant righteous nation. My friend then reminded me that the Lord has sent several plagues into our world in recent years, with the latest, Covid 19, believed by many to have originated in China, and that perhaps the Lord is using China, as he had used Babylon anciently, to bring America to its knees, hoping that America will remember and return to the foundational laws America was built upon, the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.

Imagine living your entire life trying to justify the belief in the cult of christianity. Conkey is a one-dimensional human being who is desperate to convince himself that he hasn't lived a lie his entire life. As the clock is running out, he becomes increasingly desperate to spread his warped world-view. His ignorance is a stench.

You truly are a lunatic. Your vision of America is divisive, homophobic, xenophobic, bigoted, ignorant and reactionary. No thank you! You can keep your vision of America. The 1950's are long over.

You took the words out of my mouth Jimmy.
