Derenda "Rendy" Thomas, 72, passed away in the early hours of January 19th, 2020 in the comfort of her home in Canton Ga. Rendy was born in Biloxi, MS and was a 33 year resident of Cherokee County. She is survived by her Husband of 28 years, Michael Thomas, Son Rickey Shoup, Daughter Stace Beckworth and spouse Kenny Beckworth, Son Tabb Shoup and spouse Christy Shoup, 7 Grandchildren, Mother Jean Tabb Baugh, Sister Vicki Neisler and spouse Ron Neisler, Brother Charles "Skipper" Baugh and spouse Kathy Baugh. Those that loved and knew Rendy, knew of her love for her family, friends, and fur babies. It was Rendy's wishes that upon her journey to Heaven, that we not mourn her departure from this temporary life on Earth, but celebrate her arrival home. There will be no funeral arrangements as her wishes were always to donate her body to medical research. Given Rendy's love for animals, the family has asked in lieu of flowers, Rendy would have wanted donations in her memory, sent to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter at
