Obituary for Thary Helen Matheny Thary Helen Matheny, age 83 of Ball Ground, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17th from 5pm to 7pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 18th at 12pm at Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating. She is survived by: Husband - James Matheny of Ball Ground Son - Lewis Spivey of FL. Son - Donny Matheny of Cartersville Brother - Griffin White of Dallas 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Matheny family.
