Buddy "Bud" Cloud, 82, of Jasper formerly of Free Home passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Kirby, Rev. Kenny Sutton and Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Bud was a member of Conns Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed the Rodeo, Nascar, fishing and hunting. Bud was a hard worker, throughout his career he worked for Bramco, Cherokee Tool and Die, and Sleepy Hollow Rebuilders. He formerly owned and operated a service station, a convenience store and loved being a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marie Cloud; son, Ricky Cloud; stepson, Scott Kirby; siblings, Emma O'Bryant, Evelyn Allen, Hubert Cloud and Katie Parker; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jessie and Paul Moss; survivors include his wife of over 28 years, Donna Moss Cloud; daughter, Donna Cloud Cox (Chuck); stepson, Mark Kirby (Clarcy); daughter-in-law, Teresa Kirby Dixon (Allen); grandchildren, Annie Glover (Kevin), Tyler Cloud, Evan Cloud, Jonathan Kirby (Erin), Crysta Eldridge (Robert), Hanna Kirby, Katherine Jones (Steven) and Alice Williams (Stetson); great-grandchildren, Liam Glover, Avery Glover, Anniston Kirby, Wade Kirby and Kinzee Williams; brother-in-law, Mike Moss (Donna); several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Donna Cox, Tyler Cloud, Robert Eldridge, Steven Jones, Stetson Williams, Cody Ray and Heath Kirby. Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, GA is honored to serve the family.
