Selma "Ann" Ball, 92, passed away on December 12, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Edward Ball; her son, Robert Ball; her parents, John and Bessie Coleman, and her sisters Jane Kirkland (Bill) and Norma Jean Peterson (Warner). Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, John Ball (Janet), of Woodstock, GA; Vanessa Ball (widow of Robert Ball) of Ripley, WV; and Calvin Ball (Cathy), of Tampa, FL; her eight grandchildren, Julie Henderson (Jeff); Carrie Lavette (Sam); Vania Falen (Geoff); Rana Marraccini (Jamie); Justin Ball; Susie Cancelliere (Steve); Jenna Lamour (David); and Carolyn Luysterburg (Ciro); her sixteen great-grandchildren, and all her family and friends. Ann was affectionately known as a devoted wife, loving mother, best mother-in-law, beloved grandma and cherished great grandma. She was always ready with a smile and a hug- a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. Her giving nature extended beyond her family and for years she volunteered at the local hospital, church events, and polling station. In recent years, her friends and neighbors elected her President of the Resident Committee for Cameron Hall Assisted Living Facility where she never turned down a game of cards with her friends. A Graveside Memorial Service will be planned for the spring or summer of 2021; when she will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Edward Ball, at Jackson County Memorial Park Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS.
