A Woodstock man was indicted last week on charges including trafficking methamphetamine stemming from a March 24 arrest.
Omar Jesus Rodriguez, 36, of Woodstock, is accused of tracking methamphetamine and following too closely during a traffic incident on Highway 92 near Neese Road in March. The indictment, filed Oct. 11, says Rodriguez was in possession of 28 grams of methamphetamine and “a mixture containing methamphetamine.”
Rodriguez was released from custody March 25 on a $8,086 bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
An indictment is a formal charge of felony offenses, and defendants are assumed innocent until proven guilty.
