A Waleska woman is in Cherokee County custody on several drug-related charges, including trafficking methamphetamine.

Jessica Lynn Weaver, 34, of Waleska, has been charged with a felony count of trafficking methamphetamine and two misdemeanor charges of possession and use of drug-related objects and marijuana possession.

According to her arrest warrant, Weaver was in possession of about 86 grams of methamphetamine at her home on Moores Mill Lane. The document also stated Weaver was in possession of a “methamphetamine smoking pipe” and less than one ounce of marijuana.

Sheriff’s deputies went to the home Wednesday after receiving an anonymous tip that Weaver and another person were distributing meth in the Waleska area, according to an incident report.

Weaver was booked into the Adult Detention Center Wednesday afternoon.

Weaver remains at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center without bond, according to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office.
