A Waleska man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on George Busbee Parkway in Cobb County on Wednesday afternoon, according to Cobb County police.

According to police:

At about 12:25 p.m., Joshua J. McDonald, 44, of Waleska was traveling north in a black 2016 RAM 1500 when the vehicle left the travel lane, entered the center median and struck a tree. McDonald was taken to WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta where he was being treated for serious injuries.

The cause of the crash was unknown Wednesday afternoon. The incident is being investigated by Cobb County Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Unit.
