Univeter Road was partially closed Monday morning as county officials responded to a two-car crash on the road.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a two-vehicle crash at approximately 8:45 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Univeter Road and Jesse McCollum Road.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a dark blue pickup had collided with a dark gray Hyundai, with the pickup having come to rest on its side. Both drivers were out of their vehicles when emergency services arrived, and neither appeared to have any serious injuries.

One lane of Univeter Road was blocked until the wreckage was cleared. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
