Eden, a smoothie and juice shop, is participating in Taste of Woodstock.

Thirteen restaurants and eateries will be competing to be named the People’s Choice Award winner in this year’s Taste of Woodstock Thursday.

The Taste of Woodstock event will start at 5 p.m. Thursday on the Woodstock Arts (formerly known as Elm Street) Event Green in downtown Woodstock, and all proceeds will go to benefit the Woodstock High School Band Boosters. Participating restaurants and stores include Agave Azul Mexican Kitchen, Dulce Gelato, Eden Woodstock, Freight Kitchen and Tap, Ipp’s Pastaria, Leaning Ladder, Pie Bar, Prime 120, Reel Seafood, Sahara Grill, Susto’s Taco Bar, The Daily Draft and Woodstock Beer Market.

Guests at the event must buy tickets to exchange for tastes of food from participants. Cash will not be accepted at tasting tents. Tickets cost 50 cents each, with ticket packages starting at $5. Ticket booths will be located at entrances along Market Street at Elm and Oak Streets. Items will be priced between two and eight tickets ($1 to $4 in value), while water, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available at refreshment stands and can be purchased with cash or card.

Guests will also have the ability to vote for their favorite tastes for the People’s Choice Award. Votes can be cast at the Woodstock mobile visitor center from 5-7:15 p.m.

The event green is located at 111 Elm St. in Woodstock. For more information, visit tastewoodstock.com.
