Prime 120 Steakhouse has opened its doors to steak and seafood dining at 120 Chambers St. in downtown Woodstock.

The restaurant, owned by the restaurateurs of Succulent Hospitality, opened with limited reservations Nov. 4, and has since fully opened.

The Woodstock eatery joins Hammocks Trading Co. and Under the Cork Tree in Sandy Springs in the restaurant group owned by Jason Sheetz and William Sigley.

“We know the community really well, we’ve been in business in the community before, so we’re glad to be back,” Sheetz said. “We talked to a lot of our neighbors and friends (who) live up here, when we found out the space was available, people asked for a steakhouse.”

Prime 120 is currently only serving dinner, but the owners expect to open for lunch in about two weeks.

The steakhouse’s menu features steak and seafood cooked in wood fire ovens. The bar offers a wide selection of wines, as well as craft cocktails, Sheetz said.

“There’s a lot of interactive, fun service in a good atmosphere,” he said.

The interior of the restaurant has a large room that seats about 80 people and a private room for about 20. In the spring, the owners plan to open up the patio space, and offer a more casual menu including small plates there.
