Owned by Kristi Janman, Nothing Bundt Cakes has opened a store on Ridgewalk Parkway in Woodstock.

The bakery chain Nothing Bundt Cakes has opened a location in Cherokee County.

The new location in Woodstock at 285 Ridgewalk Parkway, Suite 104 joins stores in Kennesaw or Smyrna. Kristi Janman is the the owner and operator of all three area Nothing Bundt Cakes locations.

“We thought this would have good synergy with our other locations,” Janman said. “We have done good business coming from Woodstock out of our Kennesaw location.”

The official grand opening of the Nothing Bundt Cakes is scheduled for Feb. 25, although the store held its soft opening on Jan. 18.

“We’re delighted to be here. We love bringing joy to people, and we can’t wait to grow with the city,” she said. “We’ve been overwhelmed with all of the love and the reception we’ve received.”

Along with the grand opening scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, festivities are planned to last throughout much of the weekend. On Friday, Feb. 26, 20 percent of all sales revenue will be donated to The Children’s Haven.
