Families can get free fresh food at the Canton YMCA next Saturday.

As part of the “From Farmers to Families” event, Rotary Club of Canton is partnering with MUST Ministries for a food distribution event May 22 at the G. Cecil Pruett YMCA at 151 Waleska St. in Canton.

Volunteers will distribute 1,100 boxes of food to local families and individuals in need. The boxes will contain meat, dairy, and produce. County food distribution partners will pick up boxes of food and will also offer these items to the general public.

Volunteer slots are available from 9-11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. To sign up, visit bit.ly/3y5o7mb.

Event officials ask that volunteers park on the right side of Ingles.
