Knox Elementary School STEM Academy’s Technology Club earned honors at the Cherokee County School District’s annual technology competition.

Knox Elementary School STEM Academy’s Technology Club earned honors at the Cherokee County School District’s annual technology competition.

Carter Hutchison and Grant MacAuley placed second in 3D modeling; Malia Siegrist and Abby Larkins placed second in mobile apps; and Cole Mizelle and William Foreman won first place in robotics. They now will advance to the state competition.

The fourth- and fifth-graders in the club are coached by Leslie Hicks, media specialist; Rebecca Puckett, project-based learning teacher; Jennifer Gramza, third-grade teacher; and Nina Eidson, fifth-grade teacher.
