A Kennesaw man was indicted by a grand jury in Cherokee County Superior Court earlier this month for allegedly causing severe injury to his ex-girlfriend’s spleen, vertebrae and ribs, according to court documents.
Jaxzon Tyler Fischer, 32, was indicted on Jan. 9 for three counts of aggravated battery-family violence and one count of cruelty to children in the third degree.
Fischer is accused of beating his ex-girlfriend in front of her child in March 2017 to the point of rendering her spleen, ribs and vertebrae “useless,” per the indictment.
A warrant secured for his arrest claim Fischer kicked his victim so hard “on the left side of her torso, causing a ruptured spleen as well as two broken ribs.”
Fishcer was arrested in April 2017 and released from the Cherokee County jail in May 2017 on a $25,000 bond, according to Sgt. Marianne Kelley.
He is set to appear before Judge David Cannon for arraignment at 9 a.m. Feb. 8 in courtroom 2D, according to court documents.
