Visit Woodstock GA will be hosting Holiday Sip and Shop events in downtown Woodstock from 5-9 p.m. this Thursday and again Dec. 10.

“This holiday season, we hope everyone who loves downtown Woodstock will intentionally shop for gifts among its merchants,” Woodstock Marketing and Communications Manager Stacy Brown said. “Our favorite local shops and merchants need us after this most difficult year.”

On the day of the event, participants will begin at the Woodstock Visitors Center, where they can pick up a holiday tote bag and participating retailer directory. While at the visitors center, participants can also register to win prizes in the event raffle. Each participating retailer will offer deals to ticket holders and provide refreshments to event shoppers.

Tickets for the events are $10 per person and are available for purchase at the Woodstock Visitors Center at Historic Dean’s Store, 8588 Main St. Tickets can also be purchased online at for the November event and for the December event. Merchant specials will be published online and on the Downtown Woodstock social media channels prior to the events.
