Grey Davis

Sixth-grader Grey Davis from E.T. Booth Middle School is the Cherokee County winner for the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District’s annual water essay contest.

She, and the countywide winners from all other metro Atlanta counties, recently were honored at an awards ceremony held at the Georgia State Capitol

For the contest this year, middle school students were asked to write a 300-500 word essay answering: “How do you value water?” For the essay, students were asked to consider their own water use, and the work, infrastructure an cost it takes to treat and transport that water.
