The public is invited to celebrate the opening of the WellStar Cherokee Health Park at Holly Springs with a family movie night Saturday.
WellStar will cut the ribbon on the new facility off the Sixes Road exit of Interstate 575 and then screen “Dumbo,” to cap off an evening of fun, spokeswoman Madeline Janflone said. The event is 7-10 p.m. Free popcorn will be provided, while other snacks and beverages will be available for purchase at food trucks, she said.
WellStar Cherokee Health Park at Holly Springs is being developed in two phases on a 60-acre campus located off of I-575 and Sixes Road on the west side of the interstate. Phase 1 includes primary care and specialty physician practices, urgent care, medical imaging, a sleep center, cardiac diagnostics, lab outreach services and OrthoSport physical therapy, company officials have said.
The facility will employee about 120 people and is expected to record more than 127,000 patient visits in its first year, WellStar officials have said.
