A Woodstock man is in jail after police say he stabbed his aunt and uncle.
J’dahkiz Brooks, 21, was arrested June 9 by the Woodstock Police Department and charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to his arrest warrant.
In the warrant, police say he stabbed a man and woman between midnight and 12:03 a.m. June 9, at a Woodstock home where he lived with the couple. Brooks is the couple’s nephew, according to Woodstock Police spokesperson Brittany Page.
Both were injured with “several stab wounds,” according to the warrant.
As of Monday afternoon, Brooks remained in the Cherokee County jail with no bond, Cherokee Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Capt. Jay Baker said.
