Jason Justice

A Woodstock man was arrested by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Monday, on charges he stole over $11,000 worth of items from a Bell’s Ferry Road Walmart where he worked.

Jason Justice, 46, was booked in the Cherokee County jail Monday. He was released later Monday on a bond of $17,894.52, according to Jay Baker, Cherokee Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Justice faces three felony theft charges, as well as two misdemeanor theft charges. Felony theft is classified as thefts over $1,500.

According to the warrant filed Tuesday by the sheriff’s office, Justice took items over a seven-day period while he was an employee at Walmart, from Dec. 28 to Jan. 3., with a value totaling about $11,375.
