Chipotle Mexican Grill is expanding its Atlanta area footprint with four new restaurants set to open by the end of the year, including a second location in Cherokee County.

Joining locations in Carrollton, Rome and Stockbridge, the restaurant has announced a Chipotle will be opening at 9480 Ga. Highway 92 in Woodstock in early November.

The Woodstock location will be open seven days a week from 10:45 a.m. until 10 p.m. Company officials said the restaurant will feature what they call a “Chipotlane” — which is a drive-through pick up lane. All four of the new locations will feature the Chipotlane, bringing the total number of Chipotle restaurants in the greater Atlanta region with this feature to 12.

The Woodstock restaurant will be open for takeout, mobile pick-up and contactless delivery, along with allowing limited seating in the interior dining area during the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic and heightened safety protocols in place.

Chipotle’s original Cherokee County location is in Canton Marketplace shopping center, 2026 Cumming Highway, Suite 110.
