give burns boot 21

Lauren York makes a donation to Give Burns the Boots for Cherokee County.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services’ “Give Burns the Boot” campaign is going virtual this year.

Give Burns the Boot is an annual fundraising initiative in which more than 100 fire departments throughout Georgia join together and collect funds to benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation’s mission and programs. Due to COVID-19, Cherokee Fire will be going digital to raise funds this year.

To donate, visit giveburnstheboot.org and mark “Cherokee County” in the box asking to credit the donation to a specific fundraiser.

Ten percent of donations will go toward Cherokee Fire’s education and fire prevention measures in the community.
