Cherokee County is seeking feedback from residents to help craft an update to its comprehensive transportation plan,
Cherokee Moves, to address current and future transportation demands. The county said the comprehensive transportation plan, or CPT, will identify infrastructure improvement investments that meet the long-term needs of the county.
The county has opened a survey to residents where they can share input and rank goals for the county’s transportation network. The survey is available at cherokeemoves.com or directly at surveymonkey.com/r/CJQLZNG.
The survey includes all modes of transportation within the county and asks residents to rank goals for county mobility.
The county said feedback will help provide a framework for the transportation plan update and ensure local projects align its prioritization.
“Input from our residents, business owners, visitors and other commuters is a crucial and fundamental element in our planning for the CTP,” County Manager Geoff Morton said in a statement. “The CTP update should reflect the needs and expectations of the people who use our streets, bike lanes, transit and sidewalks each day.”
