A grand jury has formally charged a man with molesting a child in December 2020 at his home in east Cherokee County.

According to his indictment filed Nov. 8, Lomack Pridgen, 22, is charged with two counts of child molestation, one count of aggravated child molestation and one count of sexual battery. Per his arrest warrant filed in June by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, he is charged with sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl Dec. 5, 2020 at his home on Sequoyah Drive near Alpharetta.

Monday afternoon, he was in the Cherokee County jail without bond.

He has an arraignment scheduled Dec. 3, according to court documents.
