With the spring semester in full swing this week, Chattahoochee Technical College continues to see strong enrollment, with over 10,000 students enrolling for classes, the college reported Thursday.

“Our enrollment numbers represent a steady increase in the number of new students enrolling at Chattahoochee Tech,” said Chattahoochee Tech Director of Admissions Nate Beardsley, who noted a new student enrollment increase of 11.6% this spring compared to spring semester last year.

“It’s a great time to be a student at Chattahoochee Tech,” said Beardsley. “We offer programs of study that support workforce training and enable our students to become highly skilled professionals in some of the nation’s fastest-growing, high-demand career fields.”

The average age of current Chattahoochee Tech students, according to Beardsley, is 24 years old.

With eight campus locations serving six counties, the college’s Marietta Campus continues to have the most students, with close to 4,000 students registered for classes this semester. The North Metro Campus in Bartow County has 2,740 students enrolled this semester followed by the Paulding Campus, with 850 students, and the Woodstock Campus, with 733 students. Another 551 students have enrolled for classes at the Mountain View Campus in Cobb County, and 430 students are enrolled for classes at the Appalachian Campus in Pickens County.

Online classes also continue to be a popular option for students, with over 4,000 students registered to take at least one online course. Several Chattahoochee Tech programs may be completed online, including Accounting, Business Management, Business Technology, Criminal Justice Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Marketing Management.
