A Woodstock-based real estate firm was calculated as the top seller in Cherokee County and No. 24 in the state by a national publisher on the industry.

Path & Post Real Estate’s ranking was revealed as a part of the 2019 REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals report. REAL Trends rankings are based on sales volume and units sold. Those ranked are among the top 1 percent of 1.4 million licensed real estate professionals in the United States, according to REAL Trends.

Path & Post is locally owned and operated by business partners Becky Babcock and Brad Nix. The team’s service areas include Cherokee, Cobb, north Fulton, Forsyth, Pickens, and surrounding counties.

“We are grateful for our clients who trust us to provide them with strategic advice and experienced guidance during one of largest financial and emotional transitions in their lives,” Babcock, CEO and co-owner said.

Path & Post earned the award with 203 residential sales, and almost $55 million in sales. All sales numbers are independently verified by a third-party in order to ensure accuracy and report integrity.

“Our clients benefit from us being an independent brokerage, without corporate bureaucracy, which allows our team to be more innovative in marketing, and more nimble in responding to ever changing market conditions,” Nix, who is chief operating officer, said.

Nix said an example of the team’s recent innovation is the Path & Post Offers program for sellers who want an instant offer to sell their home without listing.
