Marcus Tate

Marcus Tate, a resident of Canton, has been promoted to vice president of sales at Corporate Environments, an Atlanta-based commercial furniture and architecture company.

Tate leads the company's sales and marketing activities for furniture and architectural sales. Other responsibilities include development of sales strategies and plans to achieve established goals regarding sales volume, gross profit and business development.

“We look forward to big things form Marcus Tate in this role. He loves connecting with people and working with others to achieve seamlessly executed projects and exceptional client experiences. He seeks to inspire an atmosphere of teamwork and focus in the workplace and with clients,” Jay Weiland, president of Corporate Environments, said in a statement. “Long past the initial meeting with a client, Marcus enjoys nurturing meaningful relationships that grow alongside our clients.”

Tate has 15 years of experience in the commercial furnishings industry, serving in various commercial sales roles, most recently as a director of sales for corporate environments.

“What I’m most excited about is growing the existing team and recruiting top talent to support our sales initiatives," Tate said.
