Members of the Bridgemill-Sixes Service League were on hand at Saturday’s Give a Kid a Chance event, helping these students get ready for the new school year by providing them with hygiene bags.

The group assembled 250 bags, containing items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste and distributed them at the event. Give a Kid a Chance was held at two locations this year, both at First Baptist Church of Canton and Hillside United Methodist Church in Canton. The bags were distributed between the two locations and provided some of the supplies needed to help students look and feel their best for the upcoming school year.
