The Woodstock Police Department, with law enforcement agencies statewide, are seeking donations of supplies for the islands of the Bahamas.

The department is volunteering through the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police's partnership with Convoy of Care to assist disaster relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Dorian.

The department is collecting baby supplies, cleaning supplies, non-perishable foods, toiletries, hygiene kits, water filters and water purification tablets.

First Baptist Church of Woodstock, located at 11905 Ga. Highway 92 in Woodstock, will host the north-metro drop-off location. Woodstock Police and Convoy of Care personnel will be onsite to receive donations on Wednesday and Thursday. Donation hours are 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Donations will be received at the southeast corner of the campus located off of Gunnin Road.
