The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance identifying suspects accused of entering multiple vehicles, who may have also stolen a car.

Just before midnight Feb. 2, several cars were entered in the Westridge community near Woodstock, the sheriff's office reported in a video on social media. A car was also reported stolen around the same time.

Sheriff's office spokesman Jay Baker said a total of four cars were entered, and one had a gun stolen from it. All of the cars had been left unlocked.

In surveillance footage from one of the residents, a person wearing a light hoodie and sweatpants with dark sneakers opens a passenger front door and appears to search the car before exiting and getting into the driver's side.
