The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is asking for the public's help in solving a hit and run near Woodstock.

At about 5 p.m. Monday, a bicyclist traveling west in the 700 block of Arnold Mill Road was struck by a red GM (Chevrolet) SUV, according to the sheriff's office The suspect vehicle is missing its right passenger side mirror.

The bicyclist was transported to Wellstar North Fulton Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Why would anyone ride a bike in this area??? The road is narrow, no bike lanes and no sidewalks. Find a safer area.
