UPDATE: As of 3:24 p.m., the tornado watch for Cherokee County has been canceled by the National Weather Service.

Cherokee County is forecasted to experience several stormy days this week, according to the National Weather Service. Thunderstorms are projected to hang over the area throughout the night, all day Tuesday and into the day Wednesday. Rain percentages range from 30 percent during the overnight hours tonight to 90 percent during the day tomorrow.
