Outlet Shoppes

The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta will soon have a new restaurant and wine bar, as well as a retailer known for its stylish shoes for men, women and children.

Barrel & Vine Woodstock, a locally owned eatery and curated wine bar, will open in August, and Sperry, the quintessential footwear brand, is coming in September, the outlet announced Thursday.

Located across from Tommy Hilfiger, the new shoe store will be the only Sperry outlet within 300 miles, making this location exclusive to the Atlanta area.

“While other Atlanta retailers carry the brand, we’re ecstatic this new store will have the largest selection of Sperry styles inside and outside of the city,” said Charlie Loughran, general manager of The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, in a statement. “And like the center’s other stores that have prices up to 70 percent off regular retail, the Sperry outlet will offer similar everyday savings.”

Opening in the food pavilion, Barrel & Vine Woodstock will serve affordably priced charcuterie boards, flatbread pizzas, shareable dips, delectable desserts and more.

Patrons can also choose between indoor and outdoor seating areas, both of which feature large-screen TVs for watching sports.

“We are excited for the opportunity to create a new concept for The Outlet Shoppes, one that includes a casual, yet upscale menu. On top of that, we will offer a full bar, including craft beer, popular whiskeys, and a rotating selection of luxurious wines,” said Dennis Jolley, owner of Barrel & Vine Woodstock.

Barrel & Vine will be another option for shoppers to “Sip and Shop” in the Outlet Shoppes’ recently established entertainment district, so they can carry alcoholic beverages throughout the outlet mall, not just in the restaurants that serve alcohol.

“With the addition of Sip and Shop and Barrel & Vine Woodstock, we’re further expanding the center’s efforts to enhance the shopper experience,” Loughran said. “At The Outlet Shoppes, it’s more than just shopping. We’re becoming a must-visit entertainment destination.”
