The Adidas store at the Woodstock outlets recently underwent expansion and relocation to accommodate its growth in business.

Since opening its doors in July of 2013, the Adidas store has has experienced growth in demand for its apparel, company officials said.

“It wasn’t that long ago when Adidas first started selling its athletic and athleisure wear at the outlets,” Senior Vice President of Marketing Connie Dyer said. “The store has grown in popularity so much that after a recent move and subsequent reopening, it doubled in size to over 9,000 square feet.”

The expansion and relocation began in July, with the process being completed on Sept. 24. General Manager at The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta Charlie Loughran said the space that the Adidas store moved into was previously occupied by two stores, Bass Factory Outlet and Dress Barn, and is located across from the store’s previous location. She added that the move has gone smoothly, and will expand its service to even more Adidas shoppers than ever before.

“When Adidas moved from its original location to a new location twice the size, the construction process was very smooth and didn’t affect center traffic at all,” Loughran said. “By doubling its size, the store can carry a lot more merchandise offerings now, and it has really energized that area of the center. Our shoppers are very passionate about the Adidas brand and are very loyal to it, and even though we are in the middle of a pandemic, the store and the center are extremely busy as we head into the critical Holiday season for retail.”

Dyer said the company is currently looking at filling the previous Adidas space and actively talking to national retailers.

The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta is located at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway in Woodstock.
