Darnell runs Music On The Vine in Holly Springs where she takes pride in bringing music of many genres to Cherokee County, ‘outside the perimeter’. Darnell said she felt at home after moving to Canton where she found a welcoming community to the arts as evidenced by its popular First Friday traditions.

“I love Downtown Canton,” Darnell said. “I love the walking trails at the park, the beautiful cotton mills and the rich history and stories, both good and bad, that come with any local place. I’ve lived in Kennesaw. I once owned two homes in Towne Lake. But I live in and I’m passionate about Canton where I can continue to do what l do best, get involved in the community, support community and be a part of the community. Here in Canton, we are presenting a pure music feast to be enjoyed by lovers of jazz and blues music everywhere.”

Tiered level sponsorships of $250 for Shout Out Sponsorship; $1500 Platinum Signature Sponsorship and $2500 Signature Plus Sponsorships are available and each come with corresponding promotions.

Music On The Vine is partnering with Canton to bring this festival to downtown Canton. Admission to the event is free.

In the spirit of celebrating music, the event will raise funds for a Sal Gentile Scholarship for Jazz Studies at Reinhardt University’s School Of Jazz. The event will feature thirteen jazz and blues acts with different musical genres performing each hour. Food trucks and eclectic artwork exhibits will be available.
