The fourth annual Holiday Market, hosted by Revival South, returns to Canton on Nov. 30 to fulfill all holiday shopping needs.
The market will be in the Action Church at 271 Marietta Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The market will have over 50 vendors. The vendors that will be in attendance will present and sell homemade items. Many of the vendors are makers, creators, artisans, bakers and purveyors of Southern goods.
“About 90% of the vendors are from North Georgia,” organizer Gary Lamb said. “Everything from the vendors will be original items. We will have everything from boutique clothing to homemade candles to baked goods and so much more.”
Products will be available at the market for purchase. Visitors will also be able to do custom orders, allowing for online purchases for a specific item. The online item or items will be delivered by Christmas day.
The market started because of the lack of venues for small businesses during the holiday season. Lamb decided to have the Action Church become a venue for these small businesses because of the size of the church. With this market taking place indoors rather than outside, weather won’t be an issue, which is a big reason why Lamb decided to have the market at Action Church, he said.
“The one-day market idea proved to be a great one because it just took off,” Lamb said. “It really just caught fire.”
Because of the increasing popularity of the market, Lamb is expecting another big turnout for this year’s market.
“It’s a unique place to be able to come to and purchase gifts and that’s why I think why we have been able to have great turnouts,” Lamb said. “You won’t be able to find these items and products anywhere else.”
