The Etowah Wildlife Expo returns to Canton March 25 and 26, giving outdoor enthusiasts and animal lovers a chance to spend the weekend enjoying animal exhibits and fishing demonstrations.
The free to attend exhibition is from noon to 6 p.m. March 25 and 26 at The Mill on Etowah, 225 Reformation Parkway in Canton.
The event will kick off both days with Dixie Dock Diving Dogs and a falconry presentation. Other demonstrations, presentations and activities throughout the day will include a reptile show, bass fishing demonstrations, archery shooting, a retriever exhibition and a wildlife art show. All presentations and demonstrations will be held more than once each day.
Kids and families in attendance will also be able to visit over 100 wildlife vendors, a display of Jeeps and trucks and a free “kids fun zone” by Liberty Hill UMC that will feature a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, rock wall and additional games, said Haley Delaney, The Mill on Etowah property manager and event coordinator. The kids area will be open from noon to 6 p.m. both days.
There will also be live music from 6-8 p.m. both days on the outdoor stage. Whiskey Rose Band will perform March 25, while Cody Bolden and the Road Hands will perform March 26.
The expo is expected to draw as many as 10,000 people to Canton over the two-day period, according to the event website. For more information and the event schedule, visit www.etowahwildlifeexpo.com.
