Faith Family Church on Bells Ferry Road was vandalized Sunday night or early Monday morning. The vandals broke several windows, spray-painted images and messages in a handful of locations and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Three people have been arrested and charged in an Acworth church vandalism incident that occurred last month.

According to Cherokee Sheriff’s Office spokesman Joshua Watkins early Friday afternoon, the three individuals, all of whom are juveniles between the ages of 13 and 15, have been charged with second-degree burglary and causing damage to a place of worship.

Deputies from the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to the initial vandalism call on June 3 at Faith Family Church, 5744 Bells Ferry Road in Acworth.

Between Sunday night, June 2 and Monday morning June 3, someone broke into the church, stole an undisclosed amount of money and damaged several areas of the property.

The church suffered several broken windows, and inside were spray-painted the name of a street gang, swastikas and other images in various areas of the church. Church members also found turned over furniture and broken light fixtures.

Got to watch teenagers closely, until you are SURE they understand the misery being caused by their Cruel actions. Especially, when they talk about guns. Parent(s) should accompany them to a Gun Range. Make sure they understand, shooting is like any competition with others and becoming better skilled. Make time for your children.
