Reinhardt University on Tuesday announced it’s reaching out to and ready to serve students of Argosy University, which closed last month.

This month, the two universities entered into an “articulation agreement,” allowing for a smooth transition to Reinhardt for Argosy undergraduate students who had been working toward their degrees, Reinhardt officials said in a written statement.

“Our team of admissions and financial aid counselors are ready to serve former Argosy students who wish to finish their degrees at Reinhardt,” Reinhardt Provost Mark Roberts said. “We have reached an agreement with Argosy University that opens doors for its former students’ credits to transfer to our institution.”

Argosy students must apply to Reinhardt University and be accepted.

Reinhardt University offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including business, education, fine arts, theatre, musical theatre, math and science. For Argosy students wishing to study online, Reinhardt offers bachelor’s degree programs in criminal justice, business and healthcare administration, as well as an RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, in a 100 percent online format.

“While Reinhardt is prepared to accept qualifying students for any of our degree programs, we expect to see applications from students interested in programs for working adults, like the Bachelor of Business Administration online,” said Julie Fleming, vice president for enrollment management.

Argosy was a for-profit university with 16 campuses in 11 states and closed its Atlanta campus in Dunwoody in early March.
