Woodstock police are looking for a woman who reportedly stole more than $1,700 worth of lottery tickets out of a kiosk at a gas station on June 21.

According to a Woodstock Police Department report:

Officers responded Monday to the RaceTrac at 115 Hames Road, Woodstock reporting that a woman had taken lottery tickets out of a kiosk near the front of the store. Surveillance footage showed an black woman possibly between 30 and 40 years old, estimated at 5-feet tall and 250 pounds, with long hair in thin braids.

An employee said the woman deposited $10, possibly in $1 increments, but took $1,775 worth of tickets from the machine. He added that Racetrac managers and lottery officials don’t know how she was able to take the tickets, and that the lottery commission had never seen a theft like this one.

The case is under investigation.
