People looking for a job or a better job may find help at the MUST Ministries job fair May 15 in Canton.

MUST Ministries’ Workforce Development office in Canton is hosting a job fair May 15.

The program’s 2019 Job Fair will feature a wide range of employment opportunities, including office administration, healthcare, caregiving, manufacturing, warehouse, restaurant, catering, janitorial and sales categories.

To prepare for a successful interview, MUST will help job seekers present an eye-catching resume. People are urged to come to the MUST Ministries office weekdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the next two weeks so volunteers and staff can help create resumes that stand out from the crowd, said Bill Wider, employment specialist for the Canton office, 111 Brown Industrial Parkway.

“Our team can help a job seeker nail the interview and develop other valuable skills to maximize the job fair experience,” Wider said. “Must Ministries Workforce Development provides comprehensive and tailored services designed to enhance the marketable skills of those seeking employment – and it’s all free.”

The 2019 Job Fair is Wednesday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MUST Ministries client services center, located at 111 Brown Industrial Parkway, Canton. Participants should come with a resume in hand.

In the past year, MUST Ministries’ four Workforce Development offices helped 618 individuals obtain employment. Those jobs returned an estimated $11 million to the local economies. With client centers in Marietta, Smyrna and Canton, MUST Ministries helps more than 33,200 people a year who are struggling with issues related to food, shelter, clothing and employment.
