Boardwalk Development Group has opened its first multi-story, climate-controlled self storage facility in Woodstock.
This facility at 185 Woodstock Parkway is being managed by CubeSmart self storage.
The project was twice rejected by Woodstock planning commissioners and city council members. On the third attempt, the project was approved, with Mayor Donnie Henriques casting the deciding vote.
The 100,000 square foot facility is situated visible from I-575 and is visible when exiting onto Town Lake Parkway going north. It is situated a half-mile from downtown and not far from the Outlet Shoppes of Atlanta.
“It is centrally located near housing developments, apartment complexes (both existing and planned) and local businesses in need of storage,” Boardwalk Development said in a written statement.
Boardwalk Development Group’s Development Division builds multi-story, climate controlled.
A grand opening event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday at the facility. The public is invited.
