Cook & James, an Atlanta-based real estate law firm, is opening a new location in Woodstock.

“We have been laying the groundwork for our expansion efforts strategically over the last three years, and today’s announcement about our new office ... is the newest marker of our ongoing success,” said Heather James, co-founding partner at Cook & James.

The new Woodstock office will open immediately and is in response to more business in the northern Atlanta suburbs and in Cherokee County. The firm’s existing office in the Alpharetta/Roswell area (North Fulton County) will maintain its current level of staffing and services. Both offices not only provide employee workspaces, but locations for training, as well as alternative closing locations.

“Opening the new Woodstock office comes at a perfect time for Cook & James,” said Kara Cook, co-founding partner. “We’ve experienced an uptick in business north of Atlanta for some time now.”

The firm will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the new office location, 220 Heritage Walk, Woodstock. For more information about the opening, email close@cookandjames.com.
